Growth
Give each promoter a unique tracking link, see exactly who drove which sales, and grow your audience through people who know your crowd.
A promoter is someone who helps you sell tickets using their own personal tracking link. When a ticket is purchased through their link, that sale is automatically recorded against them so you can see exactly who drove the result.
Common uses for promoters:
Note on payments
Lapso tracks attribution and performance, but does not manage promoter payments or commissions. Any compensation arrangements you have with your promoters are handled outside the platform.
To add a promoter:
The same promoter can be active across multiple events. Each event generates a separate tracking link for them.
Deleting a promoter
Deleting a promoter is permanent and removes all their historical data. Lapso will ask you to confirm twice before proceeding. If you only want to stop using them temporarily, simply stop sharing their link rather than deleting.
Each promoter gets a unique URL for each event they are active on. The link format is:
lapso.app/events/event-slug?promoter=promoCode
When an attendee clicks that URL and completes a ticket purchase in the same browser session, the sale is attributed to that promoter.
To share a tracking link:
The attendee experience is identical to a standard ticket purchase. Attribution tracking is silent; attendees are not aware that a tracking parameter is present.
Attribution window
A sale is attributed to a promoter when the attendee clicks their link and completes checkout in the same browser session. If the attendee closes the browser and returns later without the link, attribution is not carried over.
Groups let you organize promoters into named collections, for example "Summer Team", "Influencers", or "Venue Staff". Groups are useful when you want to:
To create a group:
Once groups are set up, you can filter the promoter performance view by group to see only the results for that subset.
The promoters dashboard shows summary stats across all your promoters:
Click any promoter to open their detail panel, which shows their individual ticket count, revenue, and number of active events, along with a sales over time area chart so you can see when their link drove the most traffic.
Use the search bar to find a promoter by name or promo code. Use the group filter badges to narrow the view to a specific team. Performance data updates in real time as purchases come in.
